DEVARA - PART 1 (Hindi) took a huge hit in the third weekend as it collected just 1.25 crore nett which means the third week will not even reach 2 crore nett. This also means the film will not reach the 60 crore nett mark. Although there is actually not much difference in 55 or 60 crore nett, the latter number just makes it look better.

The drop was likely when the competition arrived due to the film not really being liked much especially in the bigger circuits but a 85% drop is on the higher side. The film fared better in Nizam/Andhra in the third weekend as it benefitted from Dussehra there. It looks like the film will end up doing good business in Nizam/Andhra but its not so good elsewhere.

The film is not comparable to KALKI 2898 AD and a better comparison is probably SAAHO (2019) though its unlikely it will do the numbers of SAAHO either at an all India level or even worldwide. SAAHO was 300 crore nett apprx in India while this looks to heading for a 275 crore nett finish. Although the home market Nizam/Andhra is better for DEVARA - PART 1, the Hindi business makes the big difference and SAAHO collected almost 100 crore nett more in Hindi. The worldwide total of the film is in the 380-385 crore range so far and may reach 400 crore by the end of its run.
