THE BUCKINGHAM MURDERS could not push on Sunday as the film has a huge ratio of business from the metros. It collected a little over 2 crore nett on Sunday and around 5.25 crore nett for the whole weekend.
The film needs Monday to be like Friday but that is unlikely to happen due to Sunday not being that high. The film has a huge 75% of its collections coming from the national multiplex chains because that's where the film has got a release majorly (650 screens).
The collections of the film in the first weekend are as follows.
Friday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 1,85,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 2,15,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 5,25,00,000 apprx
TUMBBAD (2018) has done well for a revived film collecting 7 crore nett over its first weekend. It is easily the highest collecting revived film, since the lack of new releases has meant older films revived, but is also the first one to be promoted and have a marketing spend. The film, in its original release, had done decent business in Mumbai but was disaster elsewhere. Here again, it looks like Mumbai will be best again by a margin.
The original release had seen 12 crore nett business and in its re-release, it should comfortably cross that mark.
The collections of TUMBBAD (revived) are as follows.
Friday - 1,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 2,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 7,00,00,000 apprx
