STREE 2 is showing superb trend in its fifth week as it holds rock steady collections over the weekdays. The trend is probably the strongest this week since release as week on week drop is looking to be under 30%. The film has crossed the 550 crore nett mark and will the highest grossing Hindi film ever in a day or two.

STREE 2 has also already collected 20 crore nett in its fifth week becoming the first film to do so and it has also comfortable beaten the fifth week record of URI which was a little under 19 crore nett. The collections of STREE 2 stand at almost 552 crore at present and will be above 555 crore at the end of the week.

The collections of STREE 2 saw a drop on Wednesday although it hardly matters much as still collections remain outstanding for a Wednesday in week five. The film got benefit of the Eid period in various parts of the country on Monday and Tuesday so that gave the film a boost while Wednesday was a normal day.

The film collected 1.75 crore nett apprx on Wednesday taking the film to almost 554 crore nett. The film is now just 1 crore nett short of the record of JAWAN (Hindi) and that will be done by the end of the week. The fifth week stands at a crazy 22 crore nett plus and there is still one day to go. There is National Cinema Day on Friday and the advances are piling up, meaning another record breaking weekend and week for the film.

STREE 2 created history in its fifth week as not only did it get the highest fifth week of all time but it also became the highest grossing Hindi film ever as it edged past the numbers of JAWAN (Hindi). There is still gas left in the tank for STREE 2 and a National Cinema Day to boost. Hence, it can easily add another 20-25 crore nett to get to that 575 crore nett mark.

The film is way past the numbers of PATHAAN, JAWAN and ANIMAL in the core Hindi speaking markets and will eventually beat BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION and GADAR 2 as well. The film should actually not be compared to films like BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION, PATHAAN, JAWAN and ANIMAL as there is a huge difference in budget but the collections are such that the comparison will happen. The film also crosses 150 crore nett in Mumbai which only BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION has been able to do till date.

The film remains the top film at the box office going into its sixth week as it had around 2 lakh tickets at the multiplex chains for the sixth Friday which is Cinema Day. This basically means a huge jump from Thursday which can be around 400%.
