STREE 2 is showing superb trend in its fifth week as it holds rock steady collections over the weekdays. The trend is probably the strongest this week since release as week on week drop is looking to be under 30%. The film has crossed the 550 crore nett mark and will the highest grossing Hindi film ever in a day or two.

STREE 2 has also already collected 20 crore nett in its fifth week becoming the first film to do so and it has also comfortable beaten the fifth week record of URI which was a little under 19 crore nett. The collections of STREE 2 stand at almost 552 crore at present and will be above 555 crore at the end of the week.

The collections of STREE 2 saw a drop on Wednesday although it hardly matters much as still collections remain outstanding for a Wednesday in week five. The film got benefit of the Eid period in various parts of the country on Monday and Tuesday so that gave the film a boost while Wednesday was a normal day.

The film collected 1.75 crore nett apprx on Wednesday taking the film to almost 554 crore nett. The film is now just 1 crore nett short of the record of JAWAN (Hindi) and that will be done by the end of the week. The fifth week stands at a crazy 22 crore nett plus and there is still one day to go. There is National Cinema Day on Friday and the advances are piling up, meaning another record breaking weekend and week for the film.

STREE 2 created history in its fifth week as not only did it get the highest fifth week of all time but it also became the highest grossing Hindi film ever as it edged past the numbers of JAWAN (Hindi). There is still gas left in the tank for STREE 2 and a National Cinema Day to boost. Hence, it can easily add another 20-25 crore nett to get to that 575 crore nett mark.

The film is way past the numbers of PATHAAN, JAWAN and ANIMAL in the core Hindi speaking markets and will eventually beat BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION and GADAR 2 as well. The film should actually not be compared to films like BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION, PATHAAN, JAWAN and ANIMAL as there is a huge difference in budget but the collections are such that the comparison will happen. The film also crosses 150 crore nett in Mumbai which only BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION has been able to do till date.

The film remains the top film at the box office going into its sixth week as it had around 2 lakh tickets at the multiplex chains for the sixth Friday which is Cinema Day. This basically means a huge jump from Thursday which can be around 400%.

STREE 2 is simply fantastic collection on its fifth Monday as it collected 2.75 crore nett taking it to almost 550 crore nett and to the verge of becoming the second film to hit 550 crore nett. It will hit this mark today (Tuesday). The film got benefit of Eid holiday on Monday.

STREE 2 now is likely to be ahead of JAWAN (Hindi) and the highest grossing Hindi film ever by the end of the week. It will not need a Cinema Day to beat JAWAN anymore. The fifth week also comfortably crosses the 20 crore nett and sets an all time record. There will be a drop on Tuesday and that will tell where the week is going but it should be around 23-24 crore nett.

The film stands at around 150 crore nett in Mumbai circuit and 140 crore nett in Delhi/UP while East Punjab will eventually hit 50 crore nett in the final run. Bihar and CI are also over 20 crore nett which only GADAR 2 has done in the former and BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION and GADAR 2 in the latter.

STREE 2 continues to smash records as it easily beats the record of URI for the highest fifth weekend and again the film shows a big jump on Sunday which ensures the film will have the highest fifth week as well.

The film has more than covered the fifth week of a film like BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION in week five over the weekend alone. STREE 2 collected a 15 crore nett plus total for the fifth weekend and now should be the first film collect over 20 crore nett in week five. It now stands at 546 crore nett which is 8 crore nett behind JAWAN (Hindi) and that should be achieved in the next 4-5 days.

The film stands at around 150 crore nett in Mumbai circuit and 140 crore nett in Delhi/UP while East Punjab will eventually hit 50 crore nett in the final run. STREE 2 showed 60% growth on its fifth Saturday to collect over 5 crore nett and take its overall total to over 540 crore nett. The fifth weekend is trending to be the highest of all time beating the numbers of URI. The film is also likely to beat URI over the week as it chases another benchmark to become the first film to collect 20 crore nett in week five.

The growth on Saturday was not as high as previous weekends but that was because of the buy one get one free offer on Friday. Take that out and growth would be pretty much towards the 90% mark like previous Saturdays. The film is basically just not stopping and on present trend, there looks plenty more to come.

The JAWAN (Hindi) total is a simple task now and even if there was no Cinema Day on September 20, the film would be cruising past the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer. The film has also crossed the business of GADAR 2 in Delhi/UP this weekend.

STREE 2 was outstanding again on its fifth Friday as collections jumped around 20% from the previous day. It collected 3.25 crore nett as the buy one get one free offer helped the film but even if that was not there, its unlikely there would be much of a drop. It can be easily assumed the film would have held similar collections to Thursday.

The film now stands at a huge 536 crore nett and can even set a record for the fourth week though growth can be a little less compared to the last few weeks due to the offer on Friday. No doubt the film will be among the top two fourth weeks of all time as the second highest ever is BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION at a little over 12 crore nett and STREE 2 could cover that over the weekend.

The hold on the fifth Friday pretty much confirms the film will cross the business of JAWAN (Hindi) next Friday which will be National Cinema Day. STREE 2 will take a fantastic collection on that day to get over JAWAN and then it will be about where it ends and how much further it goes from the Shah Rukh Khan starrer.
