It was recently reported that the third part of the Welcome franchise, Welcome To The Jungle, led by actor Akshay Kumar, has been shelved. However, putting the rumours to rest, the makers have issued a statement confirming that the film is on track and the team would be heading for a marathon shoot schedule soon.

The makers dropped a picture of the cast from the sets of the film on social media. Director Ahmed Khan said, “There is no truth to these rumours. The film is on track and we are kick-starting our next leg of the shoot schedule internationally from October. My technical team has already left for the first recce.” Reportedly, 70% of the shoot has already been finished.

The movie features an ensemble cast, including actors Raveena Tandon, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Aftab Shivdasani, Jacqueliene Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor.
