Recently it was widely reported that actor Sanjay Dutt was excluded from the movie
Son Of Sardaar 2, as his UK visa was rejected by the British government. The movie starring Ajay Devgn is currently being shot in Scotland. Reportedly, Sanjay’s UK visa application was denied due to his past incarcerations.
In the meantime, there has been a buzz that Sanjay may join the cast in a special appearance, when they come back to shoot in India.
For the first time, the PK actor addresses the rumours, while exclusively talking to BT. Sanjay goes on to lambast the questionable decision. He states, "I know one thing that the UK government did not do the right thing. They gave me the Visa (initially). Waha (in the United Kingdom ) sab payment ho gaye the. Everything was ready. Then a month later you are cancelling my Visa! I gave you (the UK government) all the papers and everything (required). Why did you give me the Visa (in the first place)? You shouldn’t have given me the visa. How come it took you one month to realise the laws?"
Sanjay was replaced by actor Ravi Kishan at the last minute. When asked about the possibility of a special appearance in the film, he said, "I don’t know about that". The actor admits he did not "miss out" on the project.
"Waise bhi who is going to UK? There are so many riots happening there . Even the Indian government has issued a statement that you should not visit UK. (So), I am not missing out on anything. But yes, they have done wrong. They need to rectify this. I am a law-abiding citizen. I go according to the law, and I respect every country’s law," he concludes.
