KALKI 2898 AD (Hindi) collected a decent 7.25 crore nett in its forth weekend which is a drop from the previous weekend but that was expected due to the release of BAD NEWZ. The film has crossed the 262 crore nett mark and is looking to end at close to 270 crore nett.

This will make it the fourth best film in Hindi from the South after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION, KGF - CHAPTER 2 and RRR. The collections in Mumbai should end at around 75 crore nett plus while Delhi/UP should close at around 55 crore nett plus. The RRR comparative is 93 crore in Mumbai and 58 crore in Delhi/UP. The main difference is that KALKI 2898 AD has done far less in Gujarat. It was also less in UP but the NCR region covered that shortfall to give a similar total to RRR.

The surprise with KALKI 2898 AD is the Hindi business in Mysore. No South film including BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION has ever done business in Hindi like this one in Mysore. In fact, the business in Mysore is so good that the South ratio in Hindi is coming in at around 8%.
