KALKI 2898 AD (Hindi) collected a solid 11 crore nett on  day seven for a first week total of 147 crore nett which is the highest of the year beating the 130 crore nett of FIGHTER. FIGHTER also had an eight day first week but collections were down to 5.75 crore nett on day eight and here it will be much higher.

The drops are there in the mass circuits as they opened very well but they should steady up at these levels now as the film heads into the second weekend. The big three films from the South are BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION, KGF - CHAPTER  2 and RRR. KALKI 2898 AD can maybe challenge the collections of RRR as it will have a good lead after the first week due to a longer week and generally higher collections.

The holds are not going to be as strong as RRR as that film was stronger in mass circuits and single screens while it is more about the multiplexes with KALKI 2898 AD. This should also mean a huge jump on Saturday.
