MR & MRS MAHI had collected close to 2 crore nett on Monday which is a fair hold. The collections are down 70% from Friday but those were inflated due to the Cinema Lovers Day and fair value for Friday would probably be around 3-3.25 crore nett.

So taking that into account, the drop is more towards the 35% range. Obviously, with these small films, you want that Friday to Monday drop to be as less as possible with good scenario being no drop or next to nothing. But this sort of drop should be enough to give the film a run as SRIKANTH dropped 25% on Monday with lesser collections on the weekend and this is not far off that. The first week of the film should be around 24 crore nett.

The difference between SRIKANTH and this is that there is no clear run and that Cinema Lovers Day consumed a a lot of extra extra footfalls. If the film holds well over the next few days and the trend is good from Thursday to second Friday, the film may well emerge another surprise success. Hence, that second Friday number will be crucial.
