CHANDU CHAMPION collected almost 18.50 crore nett in its second week which is reasonable in terms of hold as its dropping under 50% from the first week. But the problem is the first week hardly had any collections and you have to hold much better than a normal 50% hold.

The collections crashed as soon as the competition of KALKI 2898 AD came and at present it stands at around 54 crore nett. It should end somewhere in the region of 60 crore nett. The film is another addition to the long list of FLOPS which is the story almost every other week.

The film was never going to do well as had very limited appreciation but in today's scenario, you have to wait to give a verdict as if a big film like KALKI 2898 AD does not do well, then the holdovers can get a fresh lease of life. This was seen earlier when BADE MIYAN CHOTE MIYAN and MAIDAAN tanked. KALKI 2898 AD is looking a winner and this pretty much ends the run of CHANDU CHAMPION.
