SHAITAAN had a very good second week as it collected 35 crore nett and takes its total to 115 crore nett in two weeks. The drop on the week is 56% which is excellent for the genre which is slightly on the horror side. The film easily remained the top film of the week despite competition from the buy one get one free scheme on the new release YODHA for a couple of days.

The film has a few smaller films for competition this week with the main film being MADGAON EXPRESS which again is coming with a buy one get one free scheme. So, its actually the offer which again will be the competition.

The second week collections of the film are a little short of FIGHTER which picked up 38.50 crore nett but the target in third week is to record better numbers than FIGHTER and it has good chances with the Holi period set to help the film.

SHAITAAN is on course for the 150 crore nett mark and it should very soon go ahead of films like GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI and TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAR then in the final run beat the likes of OMG 2 and ROCKY AUR RANI KII PREM KAHAANI.
