FIGHTER saw a fall in collections as it collected in the 1.65 crore nett range which is around a 30% drop from Thursday. This looked on the cards as there was a new release which got its better collections in the same places as Fighter.

If the film could have got a 2 crore nett third Friday or better, then that would have probably kept it on track for a 200 crore nett lifetime total. But this drop means it will probably fall a little short though there is not much competition in February and next week there is no release of a note which can hold it up.

The film has done well in Overseas and is a HIT film there as it hits the $11 million mark at the end of its second week. The film collected $8.67 million in week one (8 days) and picked up another $2.35 million in week two.

The film is probably looking at a lifetime business of $12.50 million plus and that is without Gulf. Fair value would be around $15-16 million as you take $2.5 million Gulf at the very least. The film also crossed the 300 crore gross mark on its third Friday as it stands at 302 crore after 16 days.
