Having taken his first steps in showbiz, Vedang Raina is basking in the love he is getting for his debut project, The Archies (2023). The actor says, “I was a mess before the release. At the screening, I was looking at everyone’s reactions. I watched the film, by myself, at home (laughs).”

The 28-year-old has also been swamped with attention from female fans that he says “feels nice”. There have also been rumours of his dating life, which he “isn’t used to”. “I find it interesting that people are talking about my personal life. But I know it comes with the territory,” he says. While he is rumoured to be dating his The Archies co-star Khushi Kapoor, he clears the air about his relationship status, he tells us, “I am single. I am also aware of the speculations.”

Another aspect of his life that’s making buzz online is his striking resemblance to actor Ranveer Singh. A “huge fan”, Raina has “seen the edits online”: “I can’t avoid it. I’m curious to know what people are saying. I used to get these comments before. I think the comparison has to do with the visual resemblance.”
