HANUMAN grossed an excellent 83 crore nett in its first week across India with a huge 50 crore nett coming in Nizam/Andhra where it had competition from the bigger film GUNTUR KAARAM. The latter grossed around 85 crore nett in week one in Nizam/Andhra and probably another 10 crore nett form the rest of India for a week one total of 95 crore nett.

There is no doubt that HANUMAN will score a higher number across India but the job is probably to beat the bigger film in the home market of Nizam/Andhra. There is a 35 crore gap which is pretty difficult to cover after week one in a circuit like Nizam/Andhra but HANUMAN has held superbly in the first week. On the second Friday, it was doing roughly 3 times the business of GUNTUR KAARAM but even then, it will be tough to catch the the Mahesh Babu starrer.

HANUMAN has scored huge in Nizam/Andhra and is good in Karnataka also. The Hindi version also fared well in Karnataka for a dubbed film. If we take the all versions business of the film then Mysore did almost 9 crore nett in Karnataka while Mumbai circuit was 10 crore nett in all versions. Nizam/Andhra, Mumbai and Karnataka were the top performing regions though there was a solid outperformance in Odisha as that circuit scored above many of the bigger circuits across the Hindi circuits.
