DUNKI collected 25 crore nett plus in its second weekend with a double digit Sunday which has now taken the film to a 175 crore nett. The second week will get the benefit of a holiday on Monday and yet, second week will see mid level numbers at under 50 crore nett.

The numbers in West Bengal and Mysore can be called good but its good for any other star and not Shah Rukh Khan in these circuits as his benchmarks are much higher. The problem for the film are the collections in the North where East Punjab will stay below 20 crore nett and Delhi UP may just about get 50 crore nett.

These areas had to drive the film as relatability was most likely to come in these parts but barring the NCR area, the performance is pretty dull and even in NCR, its the bigger properties that had collections. The fact that a film like SALAAR is collecting better in the cities of UP and the big Punjab centres see just a 10% gap shows how much cinema has changed today and this is with SALAAR also not finding much appreciation.
