Back in July, Samantha Ruth Prabhu took a step back from acting to travel and focus on her health, as she underwent treatment for an autoimmune condition, Myositis, in the US. However, we’ve learnt the actor plans to resume working next year.

A source tells us, “She’s feeling better; rejuvenated would be the right word to explain her state of mind and health. The time off and travel opened her to different things. She’s planning to channel all her energy into her work.”

The source adds, “She is planning to start acting and be back on set early next year. It’s expected that she will be back once promotions for Citadel start. She may also start working on a new project that she is backing.”

Prabhu recently announced that she will turn producer. The source adds, “She plans to back off-beat content, produce for OTT, have joint ventures, and support talent. She is positive her name will bring some worth to a project she picks.”
