SAM BAHADUR had a good second weekend as it collected almost 17 crore nett taking its ten day total to 54 crore nett plus. The first weekend of the film was 25 crore nett and the film has only dropped 33% in the second weekend which did not look possible on Monday as the film dropped 40% itself on Monday.

SAM BAHADUR picked up well on the second Friday which was a surprise as its rare to see jumps of 25% from Thursday to Friday even for the most successful films. The film has fared better in Mumbai circuit than many films post the pandemic. The film is trending around 40% above Delhi/UP which is the normal trend pre pandemic but very films have managed this post pandemic. The stronger business in Mumbai city and Pune with Bangalore to support may have been the reason for the jump on Friday.

The film is looking an average success but may have better if it did not come on the same day with ANIMAL. It remains to see where the film lands on Monday. If it can really hold and then show a similar trend on Friday, then the film can actually go comfortably above 75 crore nett. ANIMAL not doing those 20 and 30 crore nett days from here on should also help the film.

SAM BAHADUR collected a fair 2.25 crore nett on its second Monday dropping around 35% which is the normal drop weekly drop post the first Monday. This has now taken the film to almost 57 crore nett and the second week should do around 24-25 crore nett.

This will take the film to 62 crore nett plus by the end of the second week and it then becomes about where the third Friday lands. If there's no drop, it should end up close to the 75 crore nett and if it can show the same trend as the second Friday and go up, then the film could even cross 75 crore nett mark.

The film is looking an average success but may have better if it did not come on the same day with Animal as majority of the audience went to that film. Much of the ANIMAL audience would not be interested in a film like SAM BAHADUR but a solo release is a solo release.
