SALAAR (Hindi) held well on Tuesday with collections in the 9.50 crore nett range which took the film to 76.50 crore nett in five days and its heading for a near 100 crore nett total for the first seven days. The last film of the hero Prabhas, ADIPURUSH, did 127.50 crore nett lifetime in Hindi but that was a rejected film.

SALAAR should go comfortably ahead of ADIPURUSH but the film will face a test post New Years Day when collections generally go down a level. The film is now generally competing with DUNKI though it is still less in North India and East India while Western and Central parts are better.

The all India collections of the film in all versions stand at around 250-255 crore nett after five days. The worldwide numbers are close to 400 crore. Here, the target is JAILER which is the only South Indian film to get to 600 crore this year and a lot will depend on the Hindi version. There's no doubt that SALAAR has a far higher reach in terms of audience than JAILER as that could not do well in Hindi.
