While talking to YouTuber Vanshaj Saxena recently, Animal actor KP Singh revealed that he met actor Ranbir Kapoor for the first time on the day the latter brought his daughter Raha, born on November 6, 2022, home.

“He had just dropped off Raha from the hospital to his house and he came to the set straight away. That was the first day when she went home. I think, she got discharged at 11 am and at 3pm, he was on the set,” he said.

Singh added that his own daughter was a year old then, and Kapoor would often enquire about the child. “He would ask me about my daughter because he just had his daughter. One day, he just asked me, ‘KP, when did your daughter start saying papa?’ and I was like, ‘Ranbir Kapoor is asking me?’” Singh recalled.

Singh went on to add that Animal was like director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “baby” and the filmmaker was in on “every little detail of every scene”. The Breathe: Into the Shadows actor revealed that the Arjun Reddy (2017) and Kabir Singh (2019) director is a hard taskmaster on the set. “Scene ke time pe mazaak nahin karte thhe bilkul bhi. Koi duur se bhi hansta hua nazar aa gaya toh unko gaali padhti thi,” Singh recalled.
