ANIMAL had excellent collections in the third Friday in the 7.50-7.75 crore nett range which is better than both JAWAN and GADAR 2 released this year and only behind BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION. It is basically the second highest third Friday of all time.

The week may not see the same pattern as there are obstacles with a shortened week and it remains to be seen if the Sunday jump comes this week with numbers at lower levels. Also GADAR 2 had some holiday support on the weekdays. Hence, to reach the numbers of GADAR 2 are unlikely in the third week.

The total collections of the film are now 426 crore nett and the lifetime business of the film is very dependent on what happens post the third week and how it can collect when DUNKI and SALAAR release. It also needs to be seen if it can get a decent number of shows in its fourth week. The film will collect if it can get shows.
