During singer Ankit Tiwari’s recent concert in Katihar, Bihar, a fight broke out between two female fans and a video went viral. Reacting to the incident, the 37-year-old tells us, “The video surfacing on social media is bizarre and uncivilized. My fans are my backbone. I understand their passion and am overwhelmed with all their love and support. However, during this concert, due to security reasons, everyone couldn’t reach the front line. But that doesn’t mean they indulge in such a nasty fight and disturb everyone’s peace.”
While the reason for the fight isn’t known, Tiwari had to stop his concert midway due to the commotion.
The two women in the video can be seen pulling each other’s hair and landing some blows, too. The Tu Meri Aashiqui and Shaamat (Ek Villain Returns, 2022) singer goes on to add, “I hope no one was injured. I also request everyone to not fight like this and get themselves or others in trouble. It’s demeaning, unwanted and disrespectful. I felt disheartened watching that video. With folded hands, I request my fans to maintain peace and harmony as that’s the best way they can show their love for me.”
