FUKREY 3 saw a good hold on Friday as it collected 7.50 crore nett setting it up for a good three day extended weekend which includes the national holiday on Monday. The two day figures of the film are 16 crore nett and it has a shot to close its five day weekend at around 50 crore nett depending on the Saturday growth.
The Friday holds were strong as the film hardly fell where it was not a holiday on Thursday and in a state like UP where it was a holiday, the collections were only down around 25% which is a good result. Maharashtra did not drop but that was low on day 2 while East Punjab also showed no drop and here day one was not really much of a holiday. All in all, the film is in a good position after day two even though day one could have been higher.
The driver of the business will eventually be Delhi/UP and East Punjab as like DREAM GIRL 2, the state which is best for comedies Gujarat is not doing that well at the moment.
The two day collections of FUKREY 3 are as follows.
Thursday - 8,50,00,000 apprx
Friday - 7,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 16,00,00,000 apprx
THE VACCINE WAR is a total disaster as collections saw a considerable drop from the first day and that too on very low collections. The film dropped far more than a FUKREY 3 which should not be the case if this film is to stand any chance at the box office. The second day drop was around 30% which is huge considering the level of collections and basically the film is a goner.
The two day numbers of THE VACCINE WAR are as follows.
Thursday - 70,00,000 apprx
Friday - 50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,20,00,000 apprx
