Actor Pooja Bhatt, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, has often said that she doesn’t get bogged down by the harsh comments she sometimes has to field on social media. In the latest instance, a user on Instagram left a vicious comment on one of her posts.

Referencing the filmmaker’s relationship with late actor Parveen Babi, the user wrote: “Your father is telling tales of stark naked Parveen Babi ran after him in dark night. To please his ego. Are you sure Mahesh Bhatt never used your body to satisfy his ego? What an irony ohh God. People can use someone’s innocent feelings to please their egos and mights. And then move freely around calling themselves sons of God (sic).”

In response, the Bombay Begums (2021) actor said: “May God bless you and rescue you from the blind hate that you choose to spew. Wish you the best.” Other social media users were quick to praise her for handling the comment with grace. “You are an inspiration to many people … keep handling things like a queen,” wrote a user.
