We hear that Khushi Kapoor, daughter of late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, will be making her Tamil debut soon. The actress, we hear, will be paired opposite Tamil actor Atharvaa.

A source tells us, “Khushi will be playing the female lead in a film directed by debutant Akash, an associate of Vignesh Shivan. Atharvaa will be the male lead in this project, which is going to be bankrolled by the makers of Ponniyin Selvan. This will be a grand film, and the team is planning to shoot it almost entirely in the USA.”

Khushi is currently awaiting the release of her debut acting venture, The Archies, an OTT film directed by Zoya Akhtar. She is also rumoured to be starring in the Hindi remake of the Tamil romcom Love Today. 

Earlier, in February, there were reports of Khushi’s sister and actress Janhvi Kapoor making her entry in Tamil cinema. However, their father, Boney Kapoor, had denied them as rumours.
