GADAR 2 had a huge fourth weekend despite being hit by the cricket match on Saturday though it made up that lost ground on Sunday. The fourth Sunday again saw extraordinary collections across the mass belts and if we take out the Raksha Bandhan factor on Friday, the trend is basically 50% down from last weekend.

The trend will not hold the same for weekdays as last week say holiday period over the weekdays. The fourth weekend of the film is almost 18 crore nett which is almost 5 crore nett more than the fourth week of PATHAAN. The film is now comfortably ahead of PATHAAN as after the fourth weekend that film stood at 487 crore nett. Here the total is 495 crore nett and its had two days less as PATHAAN released on a Wednesday.

The fourth weekend itself is the third best of all time after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION and URI. Again above the numbers is the appreciation gained for the film which has never been seen in recent times as even though it will be the highest grosser it would have done much more without a clash. GADAR - EK PREM KATHA also clashed in 2001 with LAGAAN but at that time, it did not matter much much as both films had their own set of theatres. Today it becomes about sharing the screen space or losing some of it when another film comes.
