GADAR 2 collected 8.50 crore nett on Raksha Bandhan as the film again scored heavily in the Hindi circuits be it UP, Gujarat or Rajasthan. The total of the film stands at a huge 470 crore nett and there is one day left in the third week.

PATHAAN stood at 478 crore nett after 3 weeks and BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION was 459 crore nett after 3 weeks. GADAR 2 is looking at a figure around the 475 crore nett mark. The film is still going strong and the way it has trended, it does look it should go past that 510 crore nett mark to become the highest nett grosser ever. But there is a huge film, JAWAN, in the way.

GADAR 2 will still continue to collect when JAWAN releases especially in the Hindi speaking circuits but a lot will depend where it settles when JAWAN releases. As long as the drop is not too much, the 510 crore nett plus mark will be achieved as after JAWAN, there is no major release till SALAAR at the end of the month.

GADAR 2 continued its great run with a phenomenal third week of around 63 crore nett. This is the second highest third week number ever after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION (69.63 crore) but is way ahead of the likes KGF - CHAPTER 2 and DANGAL which were around the 45 crore nett mark.

The three week collections of the film are 478 crore nett which is the same as PATHAAN did in three weeks. PATHAAN added another 35 crore nett after week three and it remains to be seen how much GADAR 2 puts up. No doubt week four will be higher than PATHAAN as GADAR 2 has a stronger trend but then JAWAN will release and collections will take a hit. Eventually though there is not much is September, the film will settle again.

The third week was boosted by the holiday period for Raksha Bandhan as the film racked up unimaginable numbers in Delhi/UP, Rajasthan, Gujarat and CI for a third week. East Punjab was hit by the blockbuster Punjabi film MASTANEY but still that circuit is closing in on the 50 crore nett mark which only BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION has achieved till date.
