ROCKY AUR RANI KII PREM KAHAANI showed huge growth on Saturday as collections went up 70-75% which was on the cards as the film is catering to high end multiplexes in the metros. The collections were 11.25 crore nett on Saturday which takes the film to 87.25 crore nett. It should reach 100 crore nett by the end of business on Sunday.

The film should also reach $10 million overseas by the end of business on Sunday. So, it will be two benchmarks hit at the same time. The overseas number is far more impressive as in India, the film lacks mass support while overseas there is appreciation across all the circuits.

The difference between this film and TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR is likely to come from Mumbai, Mysore and West Bengal as Mumbai city, Pune, Bangalore and Kolkata gave a better performance. Delhi NCR is also better than TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR but overall circuit figures will be similar as ROCKY AUR RANI KII PREM KAHAANI is lesser in UP.  It is doing HIT business in the above mentioned cities but it remains to be seen if they can cover the shortfall from the rest of India in the long run.
