GADAR 2 had another huge weekend as it collected 36.50 crore nett which is the highest third weekend ever outside BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION. The film also crossed the 450 crore nett mark and it also has the highest footfalls post the pandemic edging past the 3 crore of PATHAAN on Sunday.

The collections on Sunday also were better than the new release DREAM GIRL 2 as mass pockets and single screens again recorded bumper collections. In Gujarat, the film collected 2.75 crore nett apprx on its third Sunday compared to the 1 crore nett of DREAM GIRL 2 on its first Sunday. In East Punjab, it got hit by the Punjabi film MASTANEY but it is comfortably ahead of PATHAAN and KGF - CHAPTER 2 in the circuit with only BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION ahead.

The collections in Punjab are a surprise as its at record levels and that was not expected due to Sunny Deol being into politics. Core B centres of Punjab like Pathankot and Abohar are shockingly higher than the local historic blockbuster and the highest grosser of Punjab, CARRY ON JATTA 3 which was released a few weeks back. The bigger centres of Punjab are a bit less but that is mainly due to less shows due to the clash with OMG 2. Delhi/UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Gujarat and CI are simply out of this world.

The lower performance is in South and West Bengal. South will be less than 50% of PATHAAN but Gujarat and Rajasthan alone will make up most of this shortfall from the South. The total collections of the film are now 451 crore nett plus and it remains strong in most of the circuits.
