SATYAPREM KI KATHA had a decent extended first weekend of around 35 crore nett with good business on Saturday and Sunday. If this numbers was in three days, then it would actually been a good number. But there is a good trend there on Saturday and Sunday for the film to get a run post the weekend.

The film has not collected well in Eastern India and Maharashtra is also weak. There has been bad weather in Maharashtra but that is unlikely to be a problem as Marathi film BAIPAN BHARI DEVI has recorded superb collections across the state. There was huge competition in the North as well with CARRY ON JATTA 3. Both Delhi city is pretty good and even East Punjab is reasonable considering how other Hindi films have fared there over the past year.

Gujarat/Saurashtra saw good collections on Sunday as the circuit easily went over the 1 crore mark. So overall, the film is in a decent position after four days and it remains to be seen if it can go on from here to emerge a success.
