TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR has practically finished its box office run and stands at around 128 crore nett which is the second best total of the year and the eighth best post the pandemic if we take the original Hindi content. It should have done better in the Hindi belts did not perform well, especially in Maharashtra and Gujarat.

The music was a huge asset for the film which meant it got a run in urban centres due to youth patronage. The collections of the film will be around 41.50 crore nett in Mumbai, 32.25 crore nett in Delhi/UP and 11.75 crore nett in East Punjab. The other circuit to do well was Mysore at 8 crore nett and Rajasthan for a mass circuit is not too bad with 6.50 crore nett.

The overseas collections of the film were $5.1 million and this is disappointing as a film like JUGJUGG JEEYO did $4.58 million while doing 78 crore nett in India. The gap between the films should have been much more in Overseas. The worldwide number for the film will be around 195 crore with 153 crore gross in INDIA and 42 crore from OVERSEAS.
