While Richa Chadha has featured in international films in the past— Masaan was an Indo-French production and Love Sonia, an indie based out of Hollywood — the actress will make her international debut with Indo-Brit Production Ainaa that has her in the lead role. The film is set both in London and India.
Ainaa, helmed by director Markus Meedt, will be officially announced at the House of Lords in London. Richa told BT, “I’m excited to be working in a new part of the world. They have put together an impressive crew from India and the UK. We are currently in London prepping for the film, with the shooting expected to commence on June 2. I have always strived to play challenging roles and this one is one of the toughest parts of my career.”
Sharing the screen with Chadha is British actor William Moseley, who gained fame as a child actor in The Chronicles Of Narnia films. Moseley was also seen in the Indian film Margarita With A Straw.
