Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 collects 6.75 cr on Day 1

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 did decent business on day one as it collected around 6.75 crore nett. Again, since it a film of the Marvel brand, it got good advances but the collections in current run at a slow place. But for the GUARDIANS franchise, these numbers are solid as the franchise has never really collected in India.
The last film in 2017 had collections under 20 crore nett and here that will be covered over the weekend. The opening is the eighth highest for Hollywood in India post the pandemic with films like AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER, SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME, DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS and THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER leading the way.
The top ten openings for Hollywood in India post the pandemic are as follows.

2. Spider-Man: No Way Home - 32,67,00,000
3. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness - 28,74,00,000
4. Thor: Love And Thunder - 18,48,00,000

6. Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania - 8,51,00,000
7. Jurrasic World: Dominion - 8,22,00,000
8. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 - 6.75-7 crore
