KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN dropped on its second Friday with collections in the 2.25 crore nett range. The film had to be around 3 crore nett if it was to get to the 125 crore nett mark which now looks impossible for the film.

The eight day business of the film is now 88 crore nett and basically, its just been a story of the film doing well over the Eid period and then coming down fast. It will get over the 100 crore nett mark but even that will take time. The collections have also come down in Overseas post Eid and worldwide, it will stay below the 200 crore mark.

The film has under performed for a Salman Khan film but there was always a possibility with the look and feel of the film. The next few films of the superstar look better products with TIGER 3 on Diwali and then a film with Rajshri Productions followed by the YRF film with Shah Rukh Khan. No doubt the numbers will be far higher as they will be better products and if the audience takes to the content as well, then the films can go anywhere. Today star power alone has limitations with a reluctant audience and its not just this film but so many that are proving this.
