Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Box Office Collection Day 3: Salman Khan Powers 'Big, Fat Total'
Box Office India Trade Network

KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN did well in its first weekend boosted by Eid on Saturday and Sunday after an average start. The collections were very good on Saturday and Sunday especially single screens which has meant a 60 crore nett plus three day weekend for the film.

The jump was huge on Saturday due to the national holiday for Eid and Sunday was Bassi Eid. So, the collections in some places actually improved from Saturday. There was a noticeable drop in East Punjab on Sunday which is a non Eid area which is a concern for collections as Eid wares off.

The Eid factor continues on Monday in some parts and normally collections are healthy in most of the Hindi belts especially the single screens but its a different story in the bigger cities as Eid is no longer a factor here.

The film has done well to get to 62 crore nett but there is a long way to go and its really about where the collections land once the Eid factor is not in play. The single screens that have done exceptionally well on Saturday and Sunday and will remain strong on Monday and even on Tuesday at places but after that it becomes a normal playing field.

The collections of KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN over the first three days are as follows
Friday - 13,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 24,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 24,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 62,25,00,000 apprx
-------------------------------
KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN has collected 107 crore apprx worldwide over its first weekend with reasonable collections everywhere. The out performance in overseas is Gulf region which will be around $1.75 million while a near $1 million total in US/Canada is not bad for this type of film.

In Gulf, it will easily become the second best performer post pandemic after PATHAAN, thanks to Eid. The contribution from Gulf, North America, United Kingdom and Australia is around $3.25 million.

A film like SOORYAVANSHI, which was a bigger film, collected 117 crore in its opening weekend while the last Salman Khan release which was DABANGG 3 before the pandemic did 115 crore. There are four films with a worldwide 100 crore weekend and those are SOORYAVANSHI, BRAHMASTRA, PATHAAN and now KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN. This mark was a given before the pandemic especially for holiday releases but that is not the case any more.
