Pathaan Box Office Collection Day 9: Shah Rukh Khan's Film Is Unstoppable At Rs 351 Crore

PATHAAN held up well on its second Monday as it collected 8 crore nett. The drop is a little over 40% but it is mainly due to the ticket rate drop which was always going to go this level at some point as it was at high levels for the first 12 days of its run. Now the film has come down to regular ticket pricing which is the lowest level it can be.

The collections showed much lower drops in some of Hindi circuits where this pricing drop affects less theatres. The collections of the film stand at around 419 crore nett now after 13 days and it looks like the film can have second week of close to 90 crore nett. The fact that this 90 crore nett will be coming off after almost 350 crore nett in week one is extraordinary.

The second week collections of PATHAAN will still be 10 crore nett more than KGF - CHAPTER 2 though the second Monday collections are very much similar.

PATHAAN (Hindi) continues to put up huge numbers in overseas even on its second Monday as it reached $39.50 million and will create history on Tuesday by hitting $40 million which will be a first. Gulf was phenomenal on Monday as it took its total to $11.65 million. The Monday numbers in United Kingdom also ensure the film will hit the £4 million mark smashing all records by 50% or maybe even more.

The benchmarks it is sitting on in Overseas are simply mad and it is only Shah Rukh Khan who can challenge these benchmarks. The numbers are coming outside Eid and Christmas which are the best periods in Overseas for Hindi films. So a good Shah Rukh Khan film in these periods has the potential to go even higher than where PATHAAN has gone.

The worldwide number of the film is now 836 crore and it will easily cross 900 crore by the end of the third weekend.

The worldwide numbers in all formats will be around the 850 crore plus mark and this is well off record levels but that is because PATHAAN is mainly for the core Hindi film markets and this genre made for Hindi audiences will not travel like a DANGAL.
