Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding festivities have officially begun. The actress and her family were spotted leaving Mumbai on Saturday morning and arriving in Jaisalmer. As per sources the dulha and dulhan-to-be took chartered flights to the wedding venue.

The couple is set to marry at the majestic Suryagarh Palace on February 6. The celebrations will kick-off with sangeet and haldi ceremonies today, followed by pheras on Monday night and a reception on Tuesday.

The couple will reportedly host a lavish reception in Mumbai for their industry friends. The wedding is supposedly quite an expensive affair given that it is peak tourist season in Rajasthan. As Jaisalmer is also hosting the Desert Festival this weekend, everything is sold out.

Around 70 luxury cars have been hired to ferry the guests from the airport and 84 rooms have been booked. More than 100 guests are expected to attend the wedding. Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan might also be there.

It’s happening! The wedding festivities of actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani kicked off at the Suryagarh Palace hotel in Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) on Saturday. Earlier in the day, the bride-to-be was papped at the Mumbai airport with her family and later at Jaisalmer airport with fashion designer Manish Malhotra. Their car was seen entering the hotel, confirming that it is the venue.

Sources from Manish’s team tell us that the ace designer will dress Kiara for her big day and that the entire team is “occupied” with the wedding. The source says: “Kiara is one of our girls, she deserves to keep her look a surprise for the big day.”

Meanwhile, groom-to-be Sidharth was also seen leaving his Delhi home.

According to reports, the duo will host a reception in Mumbai after a couple of days.
