Annu Kapoor had to be admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi on January 26. The actor had complained of discomfort in the chest and underwent treatment in the hospital for four days. He returned to Mumbai with his wife Anupama Patel three days ago.

When we reached out to Annu, he said, “The doctors have advised complete rest for 10 days.”

His wife Anupama shared how he is on the road to recovery now. She said, “Annu ji had to go to Delhi for an event. He felt some discomfort in the chest on January 24 and doctors asked him to get hospitalized, but he wanted to honour his work commitments. After the event got over, he experienced even more discomfort and was hospitalized on January 26. He underwent treatment for four days and was then discharged. I flew to Delhi to be with him.”

Anupama added, “He is recovering well and should be fine soon. I am glad that he is back home.”
