The year has started on a celebratory note, with celeb weddings taking place back-to-back, including those of K L Rahul-Athiya Shetty and Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani. And marriage is something that’s also on Parineeti Chopra’s mind. The actor says she will be more than happy to settle and is looking for her match.

“All you have to do is find me a boy. Then, my personal life will be sorted. If you have any recommendations, I am listening!” she quips, adding, “I would love to get married and have children. That is important [to me]. I want to have a great career, full of highs and lows; I welcome both equally. I want to be healthy and happy.”

So, does that mean she’s single right now? “I haven’t found my special one yet. The day I find my person and fall in love with him, I will want to marry him,” says the actor, who was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai (2022).

Unlike some of her peers, Chopra doesn’t intend to be hush-hush about the wedding, when the day comes. “His (partner’s) consent will also play a role… But a general sentiment is that whenever I decide to get married, I will be happy to share it with everyone,” says the 34-year-old, who has two projects based on real-life stories in the pipeline — Chamkila and Capsule Gill.

‘Malti is a blessing’
Chopra has been rather busy, but managed to take some time off to meet her “cute little niece” — actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ daughter, Malti Marie. “She is the loveliest little thing and a blessing. She is the first baby in the Chopra family. She is a beautiful miracle baby,” gushes Chopra.
