The historic DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE scored again the box office as it collected almost 25 lakh nett on limited screenings at the three big chains (PVR, Inox, Cinepolis). The film was released way back in 1995 to a huge response and is a regular on the satellite circuit. It is available on streaming as well but still the audience came to see the film on 2nd November.

This coincided with the birthday of Shah Rukh Khan and the release of PATHAAN teaser which would have helped the film to get this sort of audience to the CINEMAS. The admissions were around 23k which is no joke for a film which has already been so widely watched for the last 27 years.

The film was screened on lower tickets rates of 100 plus GST which is INR 112 and it actually saw full houses at many cinemas across the country. The main reason of the response is Shah Rukh Khan and shows that his superstardom is as it was before and now all eyes are on PATHAAN which will see Shah Rukh Khan in this type of action zone which has not been seen for years

The collections of DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE on Wednesday were as follows.
PVR  - 13,10,000
Inox - 5,54,000
Cinepolis - 4,40,000
TOTAL - 23,04,000

The film is continued on Thursday but on lesser screens as it more of a one day thing to coincide with PATHAAN teaser and SRK birthday.
