BHEDIYA (Hindi) saw a drop in business on Monday which was on the cards after its Sunday collections. The film collected 3.25 crore nett taking its four day total to 30 crore nett. The film saw better holds in UP and MP but that has been the case with many others be it SAMRAT PRITHVIRAJ, SHAMSHERA or VIKRAM VEDHA.

The first week of the film looks to be heading for a 38 crore nett total and although the competition is weak with AN ACTION HERO being the main release, it is likely that the numbers will be pretty low by that time. So it will be mainly DRISHYAM 2 that benefits in this period till Avatar: THE WAY OF WATER.

BHEDIYA could not put up numbers in mass circuits from day one but there was also a chance of that and the real problem for the film has been the performance of the film in multiplexes of the big centres which is probably the target audience of this film. The audience which came for a BRAHMASTRA which worked on strength of metros and A centres did not not turn up for BHEDIYA and that has basically left BHEDIYA with these results.
