VIKRAM VEDHA continued with low collections on the weekdays of its second week as it reached 72 crore nett after 11 days. The second week should collect close to 17 crore nett which will mean a drop of around 70% and that is too high for a film which did not collect well in week one.
There seems to better appreciation in South even though the film is a remake of a Tamil film which more people in the South would have seen. West Bengal is best but that can be put down to the extended holiday period for Durga Puja. The rejection is outright elsewhere from Punjab to Rajasthan to Madhya Pradesh to Gujarat and these areas are far more important for the success of a Hindi film.
In North, the reports were poor on release but the results should have been better in the likes of Gujarat and Maharashtra as the audience verdict seemed to be better there but it was not to be.
The collections of VIKRAM VEDHA till date are as follows
Week One - 58,77,00,000
Friday - 2,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,50,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 1,35,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 13,60,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 72,37,00,000 apprx
