The Punjabi film YAAR MERA TITLIAAN WARGA had a fair opening as it collected close to 1 crore nett across India. The Punjabi film has seen a few BLOCKBUSTER films post the pandemic with SAUNKAN SAUNKNE doing near record business in India. But the regular movies have found it tough going and numbers are far lower than they would have been before the pandemic.

On top there have been so many releases due to back log but this film YAAR MERA TITLIAAN WARGA has done pretty well. The expectations were low as the last two Gippy Grewal films PAANI CH MADHAANI and SHAVA NI GIRDHARI LAL had taken very low openings but this film is far far better compared to those films.

It remains to be seen where the film goes but just getting to the level where a film has chance of success is a victory today.
