Soon after former IPL chairman Lalit Modi, 58, changed his Instagram bio and profile picture on Monday, rumour mills started buzzing about his alleged break-up with actor Sushmita Sen, 46. In July, Modi took to social media to announce that he and Sen were dating. Besides sharing a lovey-dovey post with present-day pictures of the duo, he also changed his Instagram bio and added Sen’s name to it.

Previously, his bio read: “finally starting a new life with my partner in crime. My love @sushmitasen47 (sic)”. But, as of Tuesday, till the time of going to press, his updated bio read: “Founder @iplt20 INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE - Moon (sic).”

After the reports of their break-up started doing the rounds, Modi’s last post, which was shared on August 26, was bombarded with comments from internet users. “Khatam, tata good bye (sic),” one user wrote, while another one posted, “Welcome to those who came here to know brkup story (sic).” Recently, Sen celebrated her daughter, Renee’s 23rd birthday with her exes, model Rohman Shawl and restaurateur Ritik Bhasin, which also triggered speculations around trouble in the couple’s paradise.

While Modi has been quite vocal about their love life and has commented on Sen’s pictures on Instagram on many occasions, she, on the other hand, has always maintained a stoic silence. Modi’s announcement post from July is still up on Instagram and they continue to follow each other. We reached out to them for a comment, but they remained unavailable.
