BRAHMASTRA (Hindi) saw excellent collections of 5.50 crore nett on its third Saturday after the huge 8.50 crore nett on cinema day. There was fear that Saturday would take a hit as so many people watched the film on Friday due to cheaper rates. But it is basically back on its normal trajectory as far as collections are concerned.

The film has taken a hit on Saturday outside the bigger centres as collections there have fallen a lot but that is mainly due to the fact that these places did so well on Friday as they got an extra audience due to lower rates. The ratio of business coming from the national chains is huge on Saturday at over 70% which it has never been and today it will need good collections outside these national chains for growth.

Even if the growth does not come on Sunday it will still be a very good third weekend of 19.50 crore nett. The film now stands at 207 crore nett and should be around 213 crore nett after its third weekend. The collections.
