BRAHMASTRA (Hindi) continues to do steady business on the weekdays of its second week as it collects 3 crore nett on its second Wednesday. The drops are a little more than normal on the weekdays of the second week but that is mainly due to cinema day on Friday when some of the weekday audience will be looking to take benefit of cheaper ticket rates.

The collections of the film are now 190.50 crore nett and the second week will finish at around 50 crore nett plus. The film then will score a very good second Friday due to cinema day and it remains to be seen how it goes after that.

BRAHMASTRA is doing well across all circuits though its mainly thanks to the bigger centres with Mumbai leading the way as it does around one third of the Hindi version business. Nizam/Andhra has been the stand out circuit but that is due to the Telugu version.

BRAHMASTRA (Hindi) scored a very good second week of around 50 crore nett. The collections could have been higher but the cheap tickets on cinema day may have cost it around 1 crore nett as some of the weekday audience waited till Friday to watch the film. Still this 1 crore nett will be more than easily covered by the collections on Friday.

BRAHMASTRA is the 19th film in Hindi to cross the 50 crore nett barrier in week two. This has taken the total of the film to 193 crore nett in two weeks and it will cross 200 crore nett on its third Friday. The film has dropped 65% in week two which is also pretty good.

The film is sure to remain in cinemas for sometime yet due to the lack of releases and it remains to be seen what sort of boost the film gets from cinema day on Friday. The Hindi version looked on course for the 225 crore nett plus mark but now it could go higher as long as cinema day does not affect the longer run of the film.
