Sanjay Dutt is enjoying this phase of his career thoroughly. The actor, who has been recently seen in movies like KGF - Chapter 2 and Samrat Prithviraj, has many more coming up. Besides his acting projects, he is expected to roll out films under his banner within the next few months.

Talking about it, Sanjay says, “Today, I want to produce some good, passionately-crafted movies. I want to produce films that have a mix of elements that comprise a commercial entertainer. There should be heroism, comedy, great songs and slice-of-life elements. We, as an industry, have to concentrate on what the masses want to see. The verdict is clear — they want entertainers, and I want to make commercial entertainers for them. That’s the purpose of cinema, right?”

The actor, who has several masala entertainers to his credit, further adds, “I think for a long time, the massy movies had gone completely missing. There are many people who still believe in this school of movies, and it’s time we bring it back. For a long time, I missed doing action films. I have realised that in the last couple of years, and I don’t want to let that realisation go. Machoism, raw appeal and a sense of heroism are what we should try and bring back, albeit, in a more appealing and contemporary avatar.”
