Eight years ago, Marathi viewers witnessed a masaledar treat in the form of Riteish Deshmukh’s debut in the industry with Lai Bhaari. However, apart from Riteish’s debut, the Nishikant Kamat film was also talked about for the multiple cameos in it. One such cameo came from Salman Khan, and the audience went berserk. That was 2014.

Come 2022 and Riteish and Salman are reuniting again, this time for Riteish’s directorial debut, the Marathi film Ved. While details about Salman’s role in the film haven’t been revealed yet, photos from the sets, with the duo, have surfaced. In a statement, Riteish said, “We have completed shooting the film and are now embarking on the journey that will culminate with its release. During such times, it's important to have support from the people close to you and one such person is Salman Khan. He was with me in Lai Bhaari and we are reuniting for Ved now. ”

Appreciating Salman’s support, Riteish added, “Thank you Bhau. Love you. ”

The film has been in the news ever since its announcement. It will also mark Genelia Deshmukh’s first full-fledged Marathi role (she, too, had a cameo in Lai Bhaari). Besides these, the film also features Ashok Saraf, Shubhankar Tawade and Jiya Shankar in pivotal roles.
