The Tamil film VIKRAM continues its super strong run in the South as it scores excellent numbers in all markets in South. In Tamil Nadu, it has become the highest grossing Tamil film in history as it beat the numbers of VISWASAM. The highest grosser in Tamil Nadu is BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and it will surpass that film by the end of the week. 

The film should cross the 125 crore nett mark in Tamil Nadu making it a first for that circuit. VIKRAM has also scored very well overseas and it became the fourth film cross the 300 mark worldwide after ENTHIRAN, KABALI and 2.0. It will also top 400 crore mark which will leave it behind 2.0 only which was around 700 crore.

VIKRAM is also a rare South film to cross the 200 crore nett mark. Although you see big numbers thrown around for South films, in real terms only the two BAAHUBALI films, KGF - CHAPTER 2, RRR, 2.0, PUSHPA and SAAHO have gone over 200 crore and now its VIKRAM. The Hindi version of the film is a dud which is no surprise as the trailer offered nothing but for whatever its worth, the film has held up well on insanely low collections till now.
