SAMRAT PRITHVIRAJ had a fair first weekend as it did good business in parts of India but average to low business in other parts. The film was basically driven by UP, Bihar, Rajasthan and MP which all put up good numbers and were very good on Sunday which is the best day for these pockets.

The weekend box office of the film is around 39 crore nett plus with Sunday set to fall in the 15.75-16 crore nett range. The Sunday collections in Bihar will be the highest for any original Hindi content on any day and this is the case for single screens in many centres of UP also. As for circuits, Rajasthan, CI and Bihar lead they way. The problem for the film is the low business in Maharashtra which did better on Sunday but has not really got going. Gujarat/Saurashtra is pretty good but needed to be better as Maharashtra is not performing.

SAMRAT PRITHVIRAJ needs a good hold on Monday and it is likely to hold well in the likes of UP, MP etc but also has to hold in other parts as well. Otherwise, the overall number will come out on the lower side. The weekend is the third highest post the pandemic after SOORYAVANSHI and BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 for outright Hindi films but there have only been a handful of films which have collected as even a 20 crore nett weekend has become a task now.
