Actress Deepika Padukone, who is currently shooting in Hyderabad for her upcoming film Project K with Prabhas, got herself admitted to a private hospital in the city. According to hospital sources, the actress is said to have sought treatment for an illness, which she wished to keep private and spent over two hours in the hospital.

“On Sunday, Deepika came to the hospital from her film sets and got herself admitted. She wanted the reason for her visit to remain private. However, it is nothing major. She spent a little over two hours in the hospital. After the treatment, she rested for a bit and rejoined the film sets,” reveals a source.

On Tuesday, reports suggested that Deepika was rushed to the hospital due to increased heart rate and was discharged after her heart rate stabilized.

However, her colleagues at the film set have denied that the actress had a ‘health scare’. “Deepika was shooting with us the entire day and she is completely fine. We don’t know from where such rumours are being generated. There is no truth to them. She is completely fine and the shoot is very much on track,” says a source from the film’s unit, adding that the actress is likely to issue a statement soon.
